If you see your dash cam model in the app list but it won't connect, please try the following steps.

1. Check Your Phone's Settings

• App Permissions: Make sure the Kingslim app has the necessary permissions.
  • On Android: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps > Kingslim app > Permissions. Make sure Location and Wi-Fi permissions are enabled.
  • On iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular and manually turn off Cellular Data to prevent your phone from automatically switching to it. Then, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services, find the Kingslim app, and set it to "Allow While Using App."
• Avoid Interference: Turn off other wireless signals like your phone's Bluetooth, your car's Bluetooth, and any active VPN connections.

2. Restart Everything

• Restart your dash cam, the Kingslim app, and your phone. Then, try connecting to the Wi-Fi again.

3. Reinstall and Reset

• Try downloading the latest version of the app again.
• Perform a factory reset on your dash cam (this is usually done by holding down the reset button).
• After resetting, try pairing and connecting again.

Problem Persists

If problem still persists, there may be a hardware or firmware issue. To help us find a solution, please provide the following information:

• Your dash cam model and firmware version (you can find this in the camera's "About" settings).
• Your phone model and operating system version.
• The app version number (found in the "About" section of the app).
• A screenshot of the specific error message you see.

Additionally, please go to the "My" page in the app and find the "Feedback" option. Sending us the error logs from there will help our technical team better understand the problem and find a solution for you.
