How to Save Emergency Videos/Why don't Record Emergency Videos?
(1) When the G-Sensor function is turned on and the dash cam is in video recording mode, if it detects a collision or sudden braking, it will automatically record a 20-second video and save the footage.
(2) When Parking Mode is turned on and the vehicle is parked, if the dash cam detects a collision, it will automatically record a 20-second video and save the footage.
In both cases, the recorded videos will be locked in the Front or Rear Emergency Video folder and will not be overwritten by new video files. The higher the sensitivity setting, the easier it is to trigger emergency recording.
On the D4 Pro, the G-Sensor function is labeled as "Collision Sensitivity".
Notes when emergency videos are not being recorded properly:
Make sure the G-Sensor is set to the highest sensitivity level.
Ensure the camera is continuously powered, charging properly, and able to save settings.
If normal videos can be recorded but emergency events are not, try formatting the SD card or replacing it with a new one for testing.
