Can't Connect the Camera Wifi?

If your Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting, please check the following:
- Proximity: Make sure you are close to the dash cam. The Wi-Fi connection can be unstable if you are too far away.
Camera Screen: The dash cam's screen must stay on the Wi-Fi display during the entire connection process. If you exit this screen on the camera, the Wi-Fi will disconnect.
Restart and Reset
If the problem continues, try these steps:
- Reset the camera. Turn the Wi-Fi off and then back on, and try to reconnect.
- Hardware Check: If the Wi-Fi name doesn't show up on the dash cam's screen or in your phone's Wi-Fi list, the internal Wi-Fi module might be damaged. Try a hard reset or a factory reset to see if that helps to reactivate the module.
Check Your Phone's Settings
- Turn off Mobile Data: The camera's Wi-Fi and your phone's mobile data cannot be used at the same time. If your mobile data is turned on, it will block the camera's Wi-Fi, causing the app connection to fail. Make sure to turn off your mobile data before you try to connect.
Test for Compatibility Issues
- Use another device: If possible, try connecting with a different phone or a tablet. A tablet is a great option because it's not affected by mobile data. This will help you confirm if the issue is with your original phone.
- Try a different app: You can also try using a backup app called Viidure. If you can successfully connect using that app, it means there's a compatibility problem between your phone and the Kingslim app.
