Camera WiFi Disconnects

Distance:
- If the dash cam is too far from your phone, the Wi-Fi connection might constantly drop. Try moving closer to the camera.
Battery Power:
Low power can cause the camera to disconnect from Wi-Fi to save power.
How to Test the Battery:

Power the dash cam using the car charger or a USB cable. Then, unplug the power.
If the camera shuts off instantly, the battery is either dead or faulty.
If it stays on for more than one second before shutting down, the battery is working correctly.
If none of the issues above apply, please try these steps:
Reset everything:
- Perform a factory reset on the camera and try connecting to the Wi-Fi again.
Try a different app:
- You can also try using a backup app called Viidure to see if that connects successfully. If it does, there may be a compatibility issue between your phone and the Kingslim app.
