Why is there no reverse screen display when driving backwards?
Step 1：Check the reversing cable of the rear camera
- Check if the reversing cable of the rear camera is connected correctly.
- Install the rear camera close to the license plate, then connect the red cable of the rear camera extension cable to the positive terminal of the 12V reversing signal light.
Step 2：Check the connection
- If correctly connected, please check if the rear camera connection is loose or offset; otherwise, we will replace the rear camera for you to solve the problem.
- Check the rear camera connection port on the dashcam for damage. Please send us a photo of the port for reference.

Why is the reverse screen displayed when not in driving backwards?
- The red wire on the rear camera extension cable is for the reverse signal. When it's connected, the screen will show the backup view when you're in reverse. It's possible that this wire is touching the red wire on the rear camera cable, causing the issue.
- Try wrapping the metal part of the red wire with a piece of cloth to see if that solves the problem.
- In some cases, the reverse light circuit may accidentally supply power to the red cable even though the vehicle is not in reverse gear.
