Formatting and Maintenance

Before you use a new memory card for the first time, you should format it on your computer. After that, insert it into your dash cam and format it again using the camera's settings menu.

Regular Upkeep

• Every 2 months, format the card inside the dash cam to get rid of old or fragmented files.
• Replace the card every 6 months if you drive a lot, or at least once a year for other users.

Note: Formatting a memory card will delete all of your footage. Please be sure to back up any important files you need before you format the card.
